Conservation of Sri Chola Sahib Ji worn by Guru Nanak Dev Ji and other artefacts

Our ART-UAC team recently accomplished the conservation of Sri Chola Sahib Ji, Rumaal of Bebe Nanaki Ji, Four Rumaalas gifted by Shri Hari Singh Nalwa ji, Chaur Sahib ji, small and big Gurbani (hand embroidered with silk threads) offered by sangat. This robe of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji was brought from Balkh Bukhara by Baba Kabli Mal ji. Jeevan Ji, the chief Mullah, offered this robe to Guru Nanak Dev Ji. This rare piece of cloth is light brown in color, is stitched with lining from outer boundary, has front and back with half sleeves with a space in the centre for the head to pass.
